HerStory: Máire Ní Chinnéide

Logline: Máire Ní Chinnéide was an incredible woman of many talents. She was an Irish language activist, playwright, the first President of the Camogie Association and the first woman president of Oireachtas na Gaeilge. Máire was one of the creators of the Irish sport Camogie, translated Grimm’s fairytales into Irish and in 1936 she edited the legendary Peig Sayers' autobiography.
