Delighted to be able to finally announce that CHICKEN OUT is now streaming on Disney+. Huge thanks to Network Ireland Television for getting this deal done, as it has been in the works for a long time. And of course, a massive shout-out to the entire cast and crew who made the film what it is.

Creative Business Development & Leadership for Producers

Earlier this week, we kicked off the first session of the Creative Business Development & Leadership for Producers programme with the National Film and Television School in association with Screen Ireland.

A special thanks to Ed Guiney from Element Pictures for an inspirational talk on scaling a production company to an international level.

Over the next 9 weeks, we will gain insight into the skills & knowledge required to run a successful creative business. Topics include securing funding, exploiting IP, inclusive recruitment, sustainable production practice & more.

Walter Murch's Masterclass

I caught Return to Oz on TV last night and had to watch it again for the umpteenth. I was reminded that I had the honour to attend Walter Murch's masterclass a few years ago in the IFI. He truly is a modern master of editing.

Directing for High-end Episodic Drama

This week I had the pleasure to attend Diarmuid Goggins course on Directing for High-end Episodic Drama. The group of directors were fantastic, and we got to film some scenes with the uber talented actors Linda Ryan & William Morgan and was shot by fantastic DoP Keith Pendred. Diarmuid's #KIN has just been released on #Netflix also so check it out! Thanks to everyone @Cultural & Creative Industries Skillnet for putting on another amazing course.

21st Sofia Meetings Selection

Funding Award - Animation Innovation and Immersive Development Fund

We are very proud to announce that we are one of the 10 recipients of the Animation Innovation and Immersive Development Fund from Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland in partnership with Animation Ireland and the support of Immersive Technologies Skillnet. It was a fantastic launch in the convention centre on Friday at the Furthr Festival. We can't wait to start showing you some of the work we are doing on the short film 'Scrap Metal', so watch this space!
